Computing – Computer skills
P.E – Dance
PSHCE – Litter (The Picnic), Saving Energy
We will be sharing and discussing a range of texts high-quality developing the children’s skills in writing narratives.
The children will be taught to write sentences about the story events. As well as this we will look at letter writing and key features of this style of text.
Children will learn to compose a sentence orally before writing it.
Please feel free to send in any books that are linked to our topic so that we can share them to develop our love of reading.
This term we will be studying the three themes of:
- Families – God’s love and care for every family
- Belonging- Baptism: an invitation to belong to God’s family
- Waiting- Advent: a time to look forward to Christmas
Your child has been given a reading day . A new book will be sent home once a week every Tuesday. Please can you help us to develop their love of reading by reading with your child at home every day and signing their Reading Record Book.
We will have a spelling check every Thursday morning. Each week the children will learn a new spelling rule which can be found in their homework book.
PE is every Tuesdays and Friday afternoon. Please ensure that your child has the correct kit every week.
REMINDER: Homework is handed out each Thursday and is to be handed back in for the following Monday, This gives us time to mark your child’s work and address any misconceptions they may have.
