Please find a range of resources to support your child's Faith Journey. Some resources are organised in to age groups, whilst others are suitable across the age range. Please use and adapt any of the materials. Your child's teacher may also direct you to specific content.
http://wednesdayword.org/ The children will hear the Gospel from the Wednesday Word during their Collective Worship, at our Thursday Mass and the following Monday at their Assembly.
Lent at Home.
During Lent each class has had a Lenten Prayer bag to take home. Children have enjoyed setting up a special prayer space in their homes and sharing all they know about Lent with their families. They have read the story of Holy Week and written their own prayers.
Early Years
Year 1
The children in Year 1 enjoyed taking the Lenten bag home and sharing a prayer time with their families.
Year 2
Year 2 children loved reading the story of Holy Week with their families and setting up a Sacred Space in their homes.
Year 3
Year 4
Year 4 enjoyed using their prayer bags, sharing prayer time with their siblings and parents. They also wrote some beautiful prayers in their shared prayer book.
Year 5
Year 5 found a quiet place in their home to set up a Sacred Space and read the story of Holy Week before saying their prayers.
Year 6
Our oldest children used the Lenten Prayer bag respectfully as they set up a prayer area to pray and read the story of Holy Week.
